This is a vintage USB Port Adapter and Connector for inside a computer. It connects from the motherboard’s USB pinouts to a female USB Type A port (USB 1.1 or 2). The metal bracket is designed to fit into a standard knockout on the back of a computer case (typical ISA or older PCI size - not the newer small footprint). This is a vintage part!
